You'll find Trek's Neko pedal by women while commuting, light trail riding and exploring dirt roads. This go-anywhere machine is road-bike fast, rails-to-trails capable and fun everywhere. It's equipped with a suspension fork and an aluminum frame that is modeled after 29-inch mountain bikes to make it capable on and off roads. When you add the 700c wheels with multi-surface tires, you get speed and efficiency on pavement. Wherever you ride, you'll dig the genuine Shimano 21-speed drivetrain for intuitive, easy shifting and the confidence-inspiring brakes. All this adds up to a no-compromise ride that's truly the best of both worlds.

I absolutely love this bike! I got it as a gift from my mom for my birthday and Christmas gift (it is a bit pricey but well worth it!) as my "forever bike". I really needed a new good quality bike. We saw an add in the paper for the spring sale at my LBS and thought it would be good to look around. Right away I had found this bike! The deep teal really caught my eye! It stood out from many of the other bikes, which were just red, blue, white etc... when I first tried it out, I noticed the gripping on the handle bars. It's wonderful! You will feel very secure when riding. The size (14" frame) is perfect for me (I'm 5'1"). The seat is sturdy but comfortable. The multiple selection of gears is great for when you're going down hill, up hill, or just straight. It's a very smooth ride and you can easily go fast (if you want too). Another great feature on this bike is the option of a water bottle holder. Since summer is coming near and I'll be riding a lot, I had one put on. I definitely recommend this bike!
I have taken the Neko on short (<25 miles) trail rides and love it. While it isn't the most expensive hybrid, it has served me well. It is a little heavier than a road bike and, as a hybrid, requires more work...I also have mounted it on my home trainer with no problems. A great buy for a recreational rider.
Nice looking bike for a reasonable price. Little bit heavy, but no other complains. Great for city and light trails in the park.
